So, let's start the journey!
TOPIC 1: LEARNING STYLE INVENTORY
From studying at school to a new phase of study in university is totally different. It is not easy but yet it is doable for all students. Let me show what's the difference between the two of them.
Based on the difference above, school and university both have their own benefit. Both are good for the sake of our future and teach us the essential and important things in our life. So, do be grateful for what we have been through in school life. hehe, just a little bit of motivation there😆

LEARNING STYLE INVENTORY👈
Learning has many ways and not everyone has the same style. I will explain to you three types of learning styles which are visual, auditory and kinesthetic. Each one of them has a different learning style.
1. Auditory
-Usually, auditory learners learn by hearing and listening. They tend to understand and remember things that they heard. Also, they can store information by the way it sounds and better than the written one. These are the few traits that auditory learners have:
CHARACTERISTICS OF AUDITORY LEARNERS 👂
- Prefers lectures over reading
- Memorization or spelling by repeating
- Seldom take notes and information
- Have strong language and vocabulary
2. Visual
- Visual learners. These students always use their sight to see the information to remember better. They learn by reading and seeing things. By doing that, they can picture what they learn in their head, and they like to take notes.
CHARACTERISTICS OF VISUAL LEARNERS 👁
- Have an imaginative thinking
- Learn best from visual displays
- Sit in front of the classroom
- Recall better by viewing charts or graphs
3. Kinesthetics
Students who possess this learning style tend to learn by manipulating material and things. They also like to do practical work. Mostly, students with these types of learning spend more time studying hands-on manner things and solving problems rather than hearing lectures or reading books.
CHARACTERISTIC OF KINESTHETICS LEARNERS 💪
- Keen on practical work
- Hard time sitting still
- Tends to be the slowest talker
- Learn by doing and solving real-life problems
LEARNING STYLE INVENTORY QUESTION
-This question helps me a lot to know where I belong to. This question is just a general question and everyone can answer it.
So, to sum up, my result for this test is :
Visual: 8
Auditory: 5
Kinesthetics: 5
Based on the result above, I am a visual learner. The visual learning style is they learn by watching videos or images to absorb more information. They also have imaginative thinking.
What are goals?
A goal is an idea of the future that a person or group determines to achieve and will commit everything to have it. For instance, in life, we all want to be rich, happy, have a soulmate or anything else. I believe all these are goals that we want to accomplish. And I believe if we put an effort into it, we will get it in no time and have success in our life.
THE FIVE-STEP APPROACH
-There are five steps to approach and set up goals set in our life. These things are important to make our life more systematic and precise to achieve better accomplishments in life.
We have to believe that in this life, everything is possible if we put hard work into it. The five-step approach is a good way to achieve our target. All these things have their own focus and we have to be consistent to follow it and always be confident with the path that we choose in our life.😁
TOPIC 3:NOTES IN LIBRARY TOUR
In UiTM Kampus Kuala Pilah, we have our own library which is called Perpustakaan Tunku Abdul Razak or we called it PTAR. As we all know, the library holds a basic function like providing detailed information and contains very large amounts of information. Other than that, the library also promotes the culture of reading and the promotion of education.
And also, the library actually has a second floor. The second floor is more spacious and has a meeting room, and computer lab and is more convenient up there.
TOPIC 4: FIXED COMMITMENT CALENDAR
What is the commitment?
-Commitment is something that we have responsibility for it. Or we can say something that we have to do in our life. And also commitment is important and becomes one of the most essential things in our life.
Example of my daily life calendar in university
TOPIC 5: PRIORITIZED TO-DO LIST
The purpose of a Prioritized to-do list is to make our life more systematic and consistent.
By having this list, we can reduce our stress and can do one thing at one time.
Let me show you the example of my prioritized to-do list👀
The list
The prioritized to-do list is divided into four parts. The first is high-priority tasks which contain the most important task that you have to do and have a dateline. Secondly, it is a medium-priority task and based on its name it is a task that is less urgent than the high-priority one. After that, we have low-priority tasks which are tasks that are not urgent at all.
Lastly, the additional task contains a few exciting things like exercise, playing games, outings and more.
And also there is one to-do list that is connected with the prioritized to-do list and also with the fixed commitment calendar and that is job task analysis. This to-do list also can help us to make our time in life more arranged.
TOPIC 6: MEMORY STRATEGIES
What is memory?
Memory is part of our brain which is the faculty that stores and remembers information. Memory also stores our moments from the past when we were still young and dumb.👦
★There are a few types of memory that we should know.
Information
★ There is also a test or we can say questions to challenge our sensory, short term and long-term memory. In my opinion, this test is very fun to do and interesting.
To sum up, this question I got 6 out of 10. So I think I got a pretty high score for this challenge. So those who read my blog can also try it.
TOPIC 7: CONCENTRATION STRATEGIES
✴ Concentration is the key to all things in our life. When we focus on work, we can either do the job faster or we can do the job efficiently. The perfection of focus is meditation and also the environment that leads to total concentration. If I can also include other methods to concentrate on something is that I will recommend having productive time management.
💫5 tips to have a productive time in life 💫
- Write what you wanna do for tomorrow on a piece of paper.
- Identify time available for study based on the fixed commitment calendar
- Avoid procrastination
- Always have a break between your study time
- Have enough sleep so you can be energetic in the morning
✯ On top of that, another thing that leads to total focus is the organization's strategies. These things also can help to increase concentration and can reduce our stress.
- Take a look at the questions below. The questions below are to challenge organizational strategies based on your memory.
For the first activity, I managed to get 7 out of 12. And that is, newspaper, automobile, chalk, crayon, train, book and pen. But surprisingly on the second time, I got 12 out of 12 and that is newspaper, book, comic book, magazine, pen, pencil, chalk, crayon and also train, bus, automobile and boat. It is quite interesting actually. ☺
TOPIC 8: NOTES-TAKING STRATEGIES
Taking notes can be important and also maybe for some people, may think that taking notes is wasting time. But actually, taking notes is important so that we don't miss any points or some keyword that the lecturer has hinted at quietly while they are teaching. And also, actively taking notes will increase your understanding towards the subject you were studying.
This test above is to test your note-taking strategies. I already did it and below this is my answer.
My answer to this test 😉
✴ Taking notes also has a method. One of the methods that I am going to talk about is the Cornell notes-taking method.
Photo of Cornell notes-taking
→ This photo above is how you use Cornell note-taking. At the top of the paper you write down the title and in the middle of it, you can write cue questions and key thoughts. Lastly, the summary is placed at the bottom of the paper.
👉 The Cornell method also has a few types of it: the informal outline, block method and modified block method.
The informal outline
The block method
The modified block method
- Down below is just information and you can try to do it using any methods above.

TOPIC 9: READING TEXT
TOPIC 10: CONCLUSION
★ In conclusion, I would like to talk about academic plagiarism. This matter is important because some people miss it. People such as students, usually, just copy and paste every piece of information on the internet. Without knowing that they have committed plagiarism.
👉 HOW TO PREVENT PLAGIARISM?
1) When doing the assignments, use a plagiarism checker.
2) Always cite sources when you take information from articles, magazines, etc.
3) Be organized and start early
4) Paraphrase information
5) Alter the writing style
⭐ In addition, I would like to talk about GPA which is the grade for university.
So what is GPA? The term "grade point average," or GPA, is an acronym for "grade point average," normally computed by adding up all of your numbered grades and dividing them by the total number of credits you have taken. (Danial, A. (2020, October)

5) Her GPA will be 2.30.
6) GPA are the total points for one semester only.
7) CGPA are the total points for all semester in a university.
8) She needs to increase her studies in the subject she lacks and gets at least a B in Intro Physics I and Writing in Biology to get a 3.0 in the second semester.
FAILURE AND DISMISSAL
☺ So that's all from me. Hope you all got something new when reading my blog. And hope my lecturer approves my portfolio and got passed this subject in the current semester. See ya !!
